Tech News, CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA, 14 January,2026: Apple has officially unveiled Apple Creator Studio. This new subscription service, announced January 13, 2026, bundles the company’s heavy-hitting professional tools for video, audio, and design into a single, affordable monthly plan. The service is scheduled to go live on the App Store starting Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

Key Apps Included

The bundle provides a “studio-in-a-pocket” experience across Mac and iPad:

Category Apps Included Platform
Video Final Cut Pro, Motion, Compressor Mac & iPad (Motion/Compressor Mac-only)
Audio Logic Pro, MainStage Mac & iPad (MainStage Mac-only)
Design Pixelmator Pro Mac & iPad (First Time)
Office Keynote, Pages, Numbers Mac, iPad, iPhone

The Pixelmator Milestone: This marks the official debut of Pixelmator Pro on iPad. Since acquiring the Pixelmator team in late 2024, Apple has rebuilt the app from the ground up to support a touch-first interface and full Apple Pencil integration, maintaining feature parity with the desktop version.

New AI-Powered Features

The “Studio” isn’t just a bundle; it introduces several “intelligent features” designed to speed up technical workflows:

For Video (Final Cut Pro)

  • Beat Detection: An AI model (borrowed from Logic Pro technology) that automatically maps song structures, beats, and bars directly onto the timeline, allowing editors to snap cuts to music instantly.

  • Transcript & Visual Search: Users can search for specific spoken phrases or visual objects (e.g., “red car”) within hours of footage to find clips instantly.

  • Montage Maker (iPad): Automatically assembles a dynamic edit based on the best moments of your footage, synced to a chosen track.

For Music (Logic Pro)

  • AI Synth Player: A new addition to the “Session Players” lineup. It acts as a virtual synthesist that follows your chord progressions with realistic electronic textures.

  • Chord ID: Uses AI to analyze any audio or MIDI recording and instantly transcribe it into a usable chord progression.

For Productivity (Keynote, Pages, Numbers)

  • Content Hub: Subscribers gain access to a curated library of premium photos and graphics.

  • Generative Tools: Keynote adds the ability to generate presentation drafts from text outlines, while Numbers gains “Magic Fill” for automated formula generation.

  • Apple Creator Studio will be available beginning Wednesday, January 28, for INR 399 per month or INR 3999 per year. All new subscribers will enjoy a one-month free trial of Apple Creator Studio, and with the purchase of a new Mac or qualifying iPad, customers can receive three months of Apple Creator Studio for free.
  • Education savings are available for college students and educators for INR 199 per month or INR 1999 per year.
  • Apple Creator Studio is available to download on the App Store as a universal purchase.
  • Up to six family members can share all of the apps and content included in Apple Creator Studio with Family Sharing.
